About Jon
Jon is a Certified Public Accountant and Registered Investment Advisor. After graduating from The Hill School, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Penn State University.
His experience includes working in the private sector for both start-up and fortune 500 companies before taking a position with one of the big 8 accounting firms. In 1986 he joined his father’s business and has grown it to the successful firm it is today. He serves individuals, investors and many closely-held companies all over the country by providing accounting, tax, payroll and investment services and advice. He also welcomes the opportunity to provide a second opinion.
His philosophy is to do whatever it takes to provide you with the financial information you need, unparalleled customer service and peace of mind.
Jon is a knowledgeable and experienced accountant and business owner with an easy-going and relaxed style. Besides spending time with family and friends, he enjoys traveling, playing tennis and golf (if you call that enjoyable).
About Levin & Company
Levin & Company is a family business. Jon’s father, Roger, started in the high-end women’s sportswear retail clothing business, developing it into a chain of 8 stores. At age 50, Roger decided to go back to college for an accounting degree. He worked at a large Lehigh Valley accounting firm and then started Levin & Company in 1982.
Jon joined Roger’s CPA firm in 1986 and took charge of the business in 1992. He has built a dedicated staff of accountants, tax preparers, and payroll specialists, many of whom have been with the company for over 20 years.
